ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
On Site Bristol only offers an Advanced Apprenticeship in Electrical Installation, ensuring that all apprentices are properly trained and qualified to work in the industry.
The Advanced Apprenticeship normally lasts for four years, with the apprentice attending City of Bristol College for the first two to three years to complete their technical certificates and key skills. The remaining time is taken to complete the NVQ Level 3 portfolio and to pass the Achievement Measurement Two test (AM2).
Apprentices will also be taught about employment responsibilities and rights.
The following qualifications constitute an Advanced Apprenticeship in Electrical Installation:
- City & Guilds 2330 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology – Installation (Buildings & Structures) Level 2
- City & Guilds 2330 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology – Installation (Buildings & Structures) Level 3
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services Electrical Installation (Buildings & Structures) Level 3
- Key Skills
- - Application of Number Level 2
- - Communication Level 2
- - Information Technology Level 1
- Achievement Measurement 2 (AM2)
