On-Site Bristol, as a training provider contracted by the Learning & Skills Council to deliver work-based learning (Apprenticeships) is subject to external assessment by the Adult Learning Inspectorate (ALI), in line with the Common Inspection Framework. This is to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and implementation of quality improvement processes.

Although only established as a training provider in August 2003, On-Site Bristol received its first ALI inspection in November 2004 and a re-inspection in December 2005. Neither of these inspections were able to determine satisfactory provision. Accordingly, a further Assessment Visit was commissioned by the Learning & Skills Council in June 2006, to identify whether or not On-Site Bristol was capable delivering satisfactory provision.
