  • On Site Bristol is committed to promoting a safe and healthy work environment for its staff and learners and to ensuring that, as far as is reasonably practicable, its premises are safe and without risks to the health of staff, learners and members of the public. On Site will comply with the requirements of all health and safety at work legislation and any other such orders and regulations that apply.
  • On Site Bristol’s staff, learners and visitors all have a duty to take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of any others who might be affected by their actions and to co-operate fully with On Site Bristol on health and safety matters.
  • On Site Bristol will, through risk assessment, identify and assess the significance of any risks arising from its activities and those risks will then, as far as is reasonably practicable, be eliminated or adequately controlled by the application of appropriate operating procedures or the application of necessary resources.
  • On Site Bristol actively embraces the Safe Learner concept and embeds the underlying principles and model practices in all of its health and safety procedures.

On Site Bristol will:

  • ensure adequate levels of protection of the health and safety of employees, learners and visitors from risks arising from our operational activities
  • provide safe equipment, plant and facilities at all On site Bristol premises
  • provide appropriate information, instruction and supervision for employees and learners
  • ensure that employees and learners are competent to carry out their tasks and that they are provided with adequate training
  • take all reasonable and practicable steps to prevent accidents and cases of workrelated ill health
  • maintain a safe and healthy working environment
  • properly investigate all accidents involving staff, learners or visitors and take all appropriate steps to prevent their recurrence
  • review and update this policy at regular intervals (every year) and as necessary in light of changes in health and safety legislation.
