On-Site Bristol’s Apprenticeship programme is the main activity contributing to achievement of its objectives, providing the bulk of its workload and income and producing a significant proportion of its impact. Details of the content of our Apprenticeship programme can be found by clicking on the headings on the left, where you can view either the information provided for learners or employers.

We currently have 280 learners on our Apprenticeship programme and recruit around 100 new starters each year. These new starters are selected from over 600 applicants. Details of our recruitment and selection process can be viewed by clicking on the heading to the left.

A key feature of the on-Site Bristol Apprenticeship programme, as with all of our activities, is a commitment to equalities and diversity. One of On-Site Bristol’s strategic objectives is “To prioritise residents experiencing disadvantage in the labour market, or underrepresented in construction trades – especially residents of Neighbourhood Renewal Areas, females and Black & Minority Ethnics, but also other priority groups, lone parents, disabled people and the long-term unemployed.” To this end, On-Site Bristol takes positive action to promote the participation of its priority groups – an outline of which can be viewed by clicking on Equalities and Diversity on the left.

On-Site Bristol’s Apprenticeship programme is subject to the quality standards set out in the Common Inspection Framework, as administered by the Adult Learning inspectorate. Details of how our provision matches up to these quality standards can be viewed by clicking on the headings External Assessment and Self-Assessment Report to the left.
